About ME

I am just another girl next door…unique just like everybody else….living life as it comes….believe in being happy…..having fun….trying out new things….love being with people… know I am not perfect……don’t like some of my imperfections….love some of my flaws……perfect can be boring right??

A Facebook Quiz proclaimed me to be an ESFP….and I agree…so here it what it says!

ESFP: The Performer

In general, ESFPs are friendly, outgoing, fun loving, and naturally drawn to people. They are quite enthusiastic and exuberant, and are usually well liked by others. They are good at meeting people and helping them enjoy themselves. They are sympathetic toward people and generous with their time and money. They want to be where the action is, and they will often stir things up in their own special way. At their best, they are able to realistically meet human and situational needs in a fun and lively way.

You are clearly an Extrovert

You scored 99% in the direction of Extraversion, which means you are clearly an Extrovert. People who are clearly Extroverts are naturally active and social people. They spend lots of time outwardly expressing themselves through conversation, collaboration, or recreation. They draw energy from this sort of interaction and quickly grow restless if they have to spend too much time alone or not engaged in some sort of activity.

You are a Sensor

You scored 62% in the direction of Sensing, which means you are clearly a Sensor. People who are clearly Sensors are down to earth and sensible. They trust facts and experience over ideas and imagination, and have a knack for noticing and remembering details. They focus on the present and living life as it is, holding tradition in high regard.

You are a Feeler

You scored 4% in the direction of Feeling, which means you are a Feeler. Feelers are caring, supportive, and appreciative. They naturally reach out to other people, preferring to cooperate and agree rather than argue over who is right. They are comfortable with emotions, both their own and those of others.

You are clearly a Perceiver

You scored 96% in the direction of Perceiving, which means you are clearly a Perceiver. People who are clearly Perceivers lead a flexible, spontaneous lifestyle and avoid making definite plans whenever possible. They get excited by starting something new but find it difficult to finish. They see all sides of every situation, so much so that it is often unclear to them what’s “right”. When faced with a decision, they will put it off for as long as possible in order to consider all their options. Even once the decision is made, they often second guess themselves.

Your Highest Value is: Stimulation

You seek out new (sometimes extreme) adventures and experiences, be it traveling to far places, practicing outdoor sports like skiing or kayaking, trying exotic foods, or something else. The risk in these experiences does not scare you, it excites you. You need the stimulation to keep life interesting. A life without novelty, and perhaps a bit of risk, would be boring. You are always seeking, always pushing the boundary

Influence

You scored in the 83rd percentile on Influence, which is high. You tend to pursue a leadership role in any group or project you become involved with. You enjoy being in control and like the prestige that comes with it. Because of this, you have learned how to be effectively competitive.

Achievement

You scored in the 63rd percentile on Achievement, which is average. You do your work and like to get credit for it, but you are not going to kill yourself competing to be the top performer. You want to be successful, but not at any cost. There are other important things in life too.

Pleasure

You scored in the 96th percentile on Pleasure, which is high. You tend to live in the moment, frequently indulging yourself. You are always up for a good time, sometimes putting off important, not-so-fun things to do

Stimulation

You scored in the 97th percentile on Stimulation, which is high. You seek out new experiences and are always up for an adventure. Your curiosity pushes you past boundaries that many others are not willing to cross.

Self-direction

You scored in the 46th percentile on Self-direction, which is average. You are influenced by the example and advice of others when making decisions or forming opinions, but those decisions and opinions are still your own. You are fairly independent, but you also don’t mind following a good leader.

Universalism

You scored in the 6th percentile on Universalism, which is low. Grand causes like feeding the hungry, achieving world peace or cleaning up the environment don’t personally appeal to you. You know that life isn’t fair and recognize that there’s little anyone can do about it. You would rather focus on the well-being of yourself and your loved ones than think about other peoples’ situations.

Tradition

You scored in the 12th percentile on Tradition, which is low. Heritage and customs have little sway over you. You believe in change for the better. The past should not determine the future

Propriety

You scored in the 5th percentile on Propriety, which is low. You are a bit of a rebel. You don’t care too much about social norms or following the rules. It’s not that you are a bad person, you just see rules as too often pointless and societal expectations as a form of dangerous groupthin

Security

You scored in the 52nd percentile on Security, which is average. Though you recognize that safety is important, it’s not something you worry about on a daily basis. You keep your eye out for any major threats, but generally you trust that things will work themselves out

    Hi Shilpa,

I write to you on behalf of The Viewspaper (www.theviewspaper.net) which is India’s largest youth paper and the 5th largest media company on Facebook.

We are organizing the World’s Largest Tweet-A-Thon! and would like to invite you as a panelist for the same.

From American political journalists in the 1950s, to The Economist magazine not so long ago; speculation has run rife about India and whether we will survive as a nation.

Poverty. Maoists. Communalism. Corruption. Terrorism. Disease. Currency woes. We’ve got it all, and more. We’ve been written off, doomsdayed, delegitimized – but we keep coming back! What is the root of this appetite for adversity, this solid resilience?

It is our nation’s optimism. No matter how much you bring her down, India feels up!

A first of its kind initiative, the #IFeelUp Tweetathon is a 3-day virtual conference, which delights in the irrepressible state of the nation, in spite of its laundry list of issues. Over 72 hours, we’ll be bringing in 400 panelists for non-stop discussion, and that’s where you come in.

We would like to invite as a panelist for a 30 minute session where in you can participate from any part of the world.

I hope you’re interested and if i could give you a call and discuss the same with you in detail.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Garvita
